Anthony Joshua agrees terms for December bout with Tyson Fury.

Tyson Fury recently issued a long-awaited challenge to Anthony Joshua for an all-British bout and offered the two-time world champion a 60-40 split of the pay.

His management organization confirmed that Anthony Joshua has agreed to fight Tyson Fury in December.

258 MGT tweeted that it and Joshua’s promoter, Matchroom Boxing, had “approved all parameters” provided by Fury’s team on Friday.

The suggested date is Saturday, December 3rd.

The information was not made public last week “due to the passing of the Queen,” according to 258 MGT.

They are “waiting for a reply.”

The response from Frank Warren, Fury’s promoter, was “contract will be with you very soon” with a boxing glove emoji.

Fury recently challenged Joshua to a long-awaited British bout, offering the two-time world champion a 60-40 split of the pay.

That was after it became apparent that an undisputed bout versus Oleksandr Usyk was unlikely to occur until 2023.

Fury, 34, first proposed November 26 at Wembley or December 3 at Cardiff as prospective bout dates.

An arbitration judge ruled that Deontay Wilder was legally entitled to a third fight against Tyson Fury, which the American heavyweight ultimately lost by eleventh-round knockout.

In April, The Gypsy King defeated Dillian Whyte with a sixth-round knockout victory at Wembley.

He reaffirmed his intention to retire before alerting the WBC that he planned to continue his career at the end of the previous month.

This week, Joshua, who lost by split decision to Usyk in a rematch, joined the WBC rankings at No. 6.

Outside of a pub, Fury’s cousin was recently stabbed to death in a “senseless” incident.
