Update to iOS 17.2 for new Journal app and fixes

Although the iPhone is among the most ubiquitous smartphones globally, you should update it as soon as possible if you own one.

iOS 17.2 is the name of Apple’s new update this week.

Apple describes the brand-new Journal application as a “way to reflect on life’s moments and preserve your memories.” It is included in the update.

Additionally, the release includes critical iPhone security updates and bug corrections.

Today, you can install it on your device as follows.

iOS 17.2, which was made available last night, is currently compatible with the following devices: iPhone XS and later, iPad Pro 12.9-inch and later models, iPad Pro 10.5-inch and later models, iPad Pro 11-inch and later models, iPad Air 3rd generation and later models, iPad 6th generation and later models, and iPad mini 5th generation and later models.

To activate it on your device, navigate to General > Software Update in the Settings app.

If iOS 17.2 is compatible with your device, it will be displayed.
You may elect to have it downloaded immediately or overnight; however, for this to occur, your iPhone must be fully charged.

In addition to security updates and numerous thrilling new features, the update includes bug fixes.
