Police diaries show Nashville school shooter planned attack for months.

Before murdering six people, including three ninth-graders, at The Covenant School in Nashville, Audrey Hale “considered the actions of other mass murderers,” according to police.

According to investigators, the shooter who killed six people at a Nashville school had planned the massacre for months.

The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department stated that journals discovered in Audrey Hale’s vehicle and bedroom detailed her intentions to “commit mass murder at The Covenant School.”

On March 27, three adults and three ninth-graders were slain in a shooting at a private Christian school.

Hale “considered the actions of other mass murderers,” according to police, but a motive has yet to be determined.

The police department stated that the documents are still “under review.”

Hale, a former student, fired 152 rounds, including 126 rifle rounds and 26 nine-millimeter rounds, before being killed by cops.

Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs, and William Kinney were the three children who were slain in the shooting.

Principal Katherine Koonce, 60, Mike Hill, 61, and temporary teacher Cynthia Peak, 61, were also killed.

Monday, Nashville students walked out of class to protest gun violence at the Tennessee State Capitol. On 30 March, parents and children marched to the Capitol carrying signs such as “Going to school should not be a death sentence.”

Bill Lee, the governor of Tennessee, also proposed allocating sufficient funds to post a school resource officer in every public school, as well as to increase school building security and mental health resources.

Monday’s announcement was the first public statement made by the governor since the shooting.

Police have stated that Hale was under a doctor’s care for an undisclosed “emotional disorder”. However, they have not established a connection between the treatment and the shooting.

Averianna Patton, a former basketball teammate of Hale, stated that the 28-year-old sent her Instagram messages before the shooting in which they discussed not wanting to live and said that their families did not know what they were about to do.

Ms. Patton reported seeing the messages at 9:57 a.m. (3:57 p.m. UK time) on Monday, less than twenty minutes before police reported being informed of an incident at the Covenant School.

In their final message, Hale warned that something negative was imminent and asked for forgiveness.

According to social media profiles and other sources, Hale identified as a transgender male.
