According to Hamas authorities, 535 residential structures have been destroyed, rendering approximately 250,000 people homeless.

In response to shooting across the border, Israel claimed to have bombed a Hezbollah observation post in southern Lebanon.

In the interim, food, fuel, and medication shipments into Gaza have been halted by Israel, and the only remaining route from Egypt to Gaza was closed on Tuesday following airstrikes near the border crossing; further violence is anticipated.

Israel makes a solemn commitment to eradicate Hamas.

The intense bombardment and deployment of Israeli troops near the border in the Gaza Strip instills dread among a considerable number of its 2.3 million inhabitants that a ground invasion could possibly surpass the incursions that occurred in Israel in 2008 and 2014.

According to one Israeli security source, a ground offensive is now an absolute certainty.

Israel has sworn to “eradicate” Hamas in response to allegations that children were beheaded, burned alive, and shot in the head, according to a government minister from the country.

Nir Barkat, the Israeli minister of economics, stated that the military operation would continue until the militant group that controls the Gaza Strip raises a “clear white flag” and is replaced by a “more moderate” entity.

Numerous Palestinians are confined within the confined territory, unable to flee as the southern frontier of Egypt remains closed.

Israel faces significant dangers during a ground offensive, most notably the hostages held in the densely populated and confined Gaza Strip, where Hamas threatens to execute an unannounced captive for every residential area struck.

Amid the escalating violence, the sole power station in Gaza was forced to close down on Wednesday due to fuel depletion. While hospitals grapple with dwindling medical supplies.

After 38 years of occupation, Israel withdrew its forces from Gaza in 2005, and Hamas seized control in 2007.

Israeli blockade has persisted ever since, according to the Palestinians, resulting in intolerable conditions.
