Israeli military shells Syria after Hamas rocket attack.

  • Hamas rocket attack casualties
  • International support for Israel
  • Gaza under siege

Following the Hamas rocket attack that claimed the lives of over a thousand people in the kibbutz of Kfar Aza in southern Israel, Israeli troops have been recovering bodies from residences in the area. As a result of the airstrikes, 900 Palestinians have perished in Gaza.

Children and infants were among those slain by Hamas during its rocket attack on Israel on Saturday, as reported by the Israeli military.

The death toll from the raid by Palestinian fighters, who launched the Hamas rocket attack by crossing the border from Gaza into Israel using bulldozers, hang gliders, and motorcycles before shooting soldiers and civilians and holding other Israelis hostage, has surpassed one thousand.

Israeli military said it pounded Syria on Tuesday in response to missile strikes on open Israeli territory.

No group was implicated in the projectile attack by the Syrian military, and the government of Syria remained silent.

President Joe Biden of the United States stated that the Hamas rocket attack claimed the lives of at least fourteen Americans and that he was delivering additional military aid to Israel, including interceptors and ammunition to resupply the Iron Dome defense system.

He vowed to ensure that the Israelis have the means to defend themselves and insisted that the United States “has Israel’s back” while labeling the Hamas rocket attack an “act of pure evil.”

An “extensive attack against terror targets” is being conducted by the Israeli air force in the Gaza Strip, the military said, in retaliation for the militant group’s deadly rocket attack.

According to Palestinian health authorities, approximately 900 Palestinians, including 230 women and 260 children, have been killed, and 4,600 have been injured in rocket attacks in the confined territory.

After the Hamas rocket attack on the southern Israeli Kfar Aza kibbutz, Israeli troops are retrieving dead from homes.

According to the Reuters news agency, Israeli Major General Itai Veruv, who was accompanying journalists to the location, stated, “You can see the infants, the mothers, and the fathers being murdered by the terrorists in their bedrooms and protection rooms.”

Israel Defense Forces (IDF): “We are unable to verify any figures. Kibbutz Kfar Aza saw an ISIS-style massacre of elderly, children, and newborns.

Additional significant events that transpired on Tuesday:

  • Israeli authorities claim to have discovered the remains of 1,500 militants
  • Thirty individuals who were reported missing came across a kibbutz three days after the Hamas rocket attack
  • As a result of Israeli bombardment, over 180,000 Gazans have been fled. The US offers Israel assistance in rescuing hostages.
Rockets were discharged.

Hamas, meanwhile, has launched missiles at Ashkelon from Gaza, in violation of the deadline it set for residents of the southern Israeli city to evacuate by 5:00 pm local time (approximately 3:00 pm UK time).

The threat originated from the al Qassam Brigades, the armed branch of the Palestinian militant group. The group claimed that its action was in retaliation for a “enemy crime.”

Many missiles evaded the Israeli Iron Dome defence system. Multiple individuals suffered injuries.

Also directed at Israel from southern Lebanon was a salvo of missiles, purportedly launched by Palestinian factions. The Israeli military subsequently declared that it would respond with artillery fire.

The report stated that Lebanon fired fifteen missiles, of which four were intercepted, and ten descended into empty areas.

The Times of Israel reported that thirty individuals, including fourteen Thais and sixteen Israelis, who had been reported missing for three days due to the Hamas rocket attack were discovered alive and well in the southern kibbutz of Ein Hashlosha.

Israel says around 150 troops and civilians were kidnapped in Gaza during the missile attack on Saturday.

A defense official from the US stated: “We have US Central Command, US Special Operations Command, and Joint Special Operations Command offering support to Israel on hostage rescue planning/intelligence support.”

The official clarified, however, that no US ground forces are involved in the plans for Israel or Gaza. “This offer is with Israel taking the lead, and this isn’t US boots on the ground.”

There have been distressing accounts of families being forcibly separated, leaving relatives in the dark about their whereabouts.

Hamas also threatens to execute a captive if Israel launches an airstrike without warning, preventing civilians from fleeing.

Gaza is besieged.

Hamas attacks in Gaza have Israel cutting off food, power, and water to the 2.3 million-person coastal strip.

The United Nations estimates that over 180,000 Gazans have been rendered destitute, with many huddling in schools or on the streets. As a result of the bombardment that blocked access to emergency personnel.

Israeli forces have been preparing near the border for a ground attack in anticipation of more incursions. Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, has vowed catastrophic retaliation.

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) have mobilised 360,000 reservists, including 35 battalions in four divisions.
