Girl’s stalker moves to women’s prison, sparking trans prisoner controversy.

It is believed that prison officials have authorized the transfer of Tiffany Scott, who pursued a 13-year-old girl under the name of Andrew Burns. It follows the removal of convicted double rapist Isla Bryson from an all-female prison by Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon.

Another transgender inmate has been approved for transfer to a women’s prison in Scotland.

After Nicola Sturgeon intervened in a double rapist dispute, Isla Bryson was evacuated from an all-female prison near Stirling.

Campaigners were incensed when serial sex offender Bryson, formerly Adam Graham, underwent gender transition while awaiting trial.

Tiffany Scott, who stalked 13-year-old Andrew Burns in recent weeks, may have been transferred by prison officials.

It is thought that Scott will transition from a male-only wing to a female-only unit.

Uncertain as to where this site will be.

Cornton Vale is the sole women-only facility in Scotland, but female inmates are also held in other facilities.

The Scottish Conservatives want Ms. Sturgeon to once again veto the plan.

“Absolutely shocking”

Rachael Hamilton MSP, the party’s spokesman for equalities, stated: “The impending transfer of such a violent and dangerous criminal to a women’s facility is abhorrent.

Tiffany Scott continues to endanger all women, including prison personnel.

“This dangerous monster may soon have access to a big number of vulnerable women in our prison system is terrible”.

The safety of women must take precedence above the desires of violent criminals.

“Nicola Sturgeon has already reversed course in response to public pressure to remove double rapist Isla Bryson from a women’s prison. She must now intervene to prevent the transfer of this vicious criminal. Or she willfully endanger the safety of some of Scotland’s most vulnerable women.”

The Scottish Prison Service (SPS) stated that it does not comment on particular instances. But affirmed that it is drafting new trans-prisoner policies.

An SPS representative said: “We do not comment on specific people”.

The SPS makes individualized decisions regarding the most suitable site to house transgender individuals. Based on a multidisciplinary assessment of both danger and need”.

These judgments aim to protect the well-being and rights of the individual as well as the well-being and rights of those around them, including employees, to reach a risk-balanced conclusion that promotes the safety of all parties.

When there are concerns about a person posing a risk to themselves or others, we reserve the right to hold them apart from the general population until a management plan has been agreed upon.

A Scottish government representative stated: “The placement of inmates is a matter of operation for the Scottish Prison Service, which relies on extensive, individualized risk assessments to inform choices, such as the placing of transsexual inmates.

In collaboration with the Scottish government, the Scottish Prison Service is nearing completion of a review of its policy on transgender inmate management.
