The new three-generation image shows the King reclining between two 1902 thrones with Princes William and George.

A new family photo of the King, Prince William, and Prince George honoured his coronation.

The monarch was crowned in Westminster Abbey and photographed with his son and grandson in Buckingham Palace’s throne room.

King Edward VII’s coronation chairs, made in 1902 for King George V and Queen Mary, flank the King.

The chairs were also used during the coronation of Charles’ grandfather, King George VI, in 1937.

The King holds the sovereign’s orb and sceptre with a cross while wearing the estate robe and imperial state crown.

Another image depicting the King and Queen with their pages of honor and females in attendance was released on Friday.

On the day of the coronation, it was also taken in the throne chamber of Buckingham Palace, with the King once again wearing his robe of estate and imperial state crown.

The Queen is photographed wearing the crown and estate attire of Queen Mary.

Prince George, along with the Queen’s grandsons Freddy Parker Bowles, Gus Lopes, and Louis Lopes, and great-nephew Arthur Elliot, can be seen beaming in the second photograph.

In 2022, the Marchioness of Lansdowne entered the royal family.

Ralph Tollemache, Lord Oliver Cholmondeley, and Nicholas Barclay, the remaining three pages of honor, stand far left in the photo.

Hugo Burnand, who photographed the King and Queen’s wedding in 2005, also captured the most recent images.

After a weekend of celebrations, the King issued a written message on Tuesday stating that the nation’s support was “the greatest possible coronation gift” and adding, “We thank you, everyone.”
