Professor Green suffered a seizure at home.

Green, whose real name is Stephen Manderson, claimed he suffered a grand mal seizure while at home alone and fell “face down.”

Professor Green confessed that he nearly died after experiencing a seizure.

In April, Green, whose actual name is Stephen Manderson, went “face down” into steel and concrete after experiencing a grand mal seizure at home alone.

The “I Need You Tonight” rapper stated in a social media post that he suffered eight minutes of convulsions during which he “repeatedly” struck his head and face.

The 39-year-old musician described the incident on Instagram: “I had a grand mal seizure while home alone, fell face down into steel and concrete, and convulsed for 8 minutes, repeatedly striking my head and face – I’ve never viewed the CCTV.

“The internal bruising was more of a problem, and I’ve been clawing my way back ever since.

It was caused by a combination of factors, but I had not been taking care of myself, rather the contrary.

“I almost lost my family, and then my family almost lost me”

Additionally, he advised individuals to “deal with” their health, saying, “If you don’t, it will deal with you.

Manderson, a mental health advocate, previously disclosed he had suffered a seizure in 2019.

The London-born artist had to abandon his UK tour that year after suffering a medical incident that fractured three vertebrae in his neck. He then experienced two more seizures.

Posting about the incident at the time, he explained, “Just after I sent this photo to someone to express how prepared I was for the tour, I had the first seizure I’ve ever experienced, which caused me to fall without hands to cushion the fall and fracture my neck in the process.

After arriving at the hospital, I suffered a second seizure for no apparent reason.

According to one theory, I’ve exhausted myself by doing far too much, overextending myself as usual, and it’s finally caught up with me.

“Seems quite likely. There’s nothing like nearly breaking your neck to put things in perspective, so I’m going to take this opportunity to put into practice all the self-care practices I advise people to adopt.

“Rest, studio, reading, and even possible relationship-building initiatives… A wholesome one. None that is based on toxicity Crazy, I know.”

Green, who rose to stardom in 2010 with the release of his debut album Alive Till I’m Dead, has his first son with actress and model Karima McAdams in 2021.
