English creator Jack Higgins, who composed The Eagle Has Landed and other top-rated spine chillers and reconnaissance books, has kicked the bucket. He was 92.

Distributer HarperCollins said that Higgins kicked the bucket at his home on the English Channel island of Jersey encompassed by his loved ones.

Patterson composed almost 80 books, most under the alias Jack Higgins. Other Higgins titles incorporated The Eagle Has Flown, Angel of Death, Day of Reckoning, and A Darker Place.
