In the south, where it’s sunny and dry, temperatures are 18–21°C.

However, Mr. McGivern warned that certain regions of the United Kingdom will also experience chilly temperatures, rain, and thunderstorms.

Northern Ireland, sections of Wales, the West Midlands, and northwest England may experience “sharp showers” along with “slow-moving thunderstorms” and hail.

On Saturday, Scotland and northeast England are also expected to experience “grey and chilly” weather.

Mr. McGivern predicted on Sunday that “bright spells will emerge, temperatures will rise, the air will be relatively humid. And there is a risk of sharp showers or thunderstorms for some” across the nation.

Meteorologist Alex Deakin from the Met Office stated, “It’s a bank holiday weekend and it’s going to get warmer, but it’s been such a cold week that it shouldn’t be too much of a challenge.”

He added that temperatures will “increase” and the United Kingdom will experience “some reasonably warm sunshine.”

Chris Almond, the Met Office’s deputy chief meteorologist, stated on Monday that “showers are more likely to concentrate in the east, with drier conditions elsewhere.” Temperatures will be moderately above normal.”

As the coronation day approaches, royal observers have been anxiously awaiting the latest weather reports.

According to the Met Office, early forecasts indicate that the day will be dry and moderate with “fairly settled conditions.”
