Jahrah’s husband discovered her sandals, a knife, and a headscarf, and when she failed to return home, he reported her missing to the police, Jambi Police Chief AKP S Harefa was quoted as saying by Detik.

The police chief claimed that Jahrah’s body was discovered in the stomach of a python following a search by villagers.

“During the hunt, the team discovered a 7-meter-long python that was believed to have preyed on the victim. The crew then swiftly captured the snake to confirm that the missing individual was in its stomach.

“When residents searched, the victim was eventually discovered in the stomach of the snake. “The victim’s body was not destroyed when it was discovered within the snake’s body, as it was believed that it had been recently devoured,” police stated.

By coiling themselves around the victim’s body, pythons suffocate their victims.

In 2018, an Indonesian woman was devoured by a 23-foot python while gardening.

Indonesia has a substantial population of reticulated giant pythons.
