UFC president Dana White apologises after wife-slapping video surfaces

Dana White, 53, stated that he had been drinking the night of the incident with his wife. But added that “this is not an excuse.”

UFC president Dana White issued an apology following the release of a video. Showing him engaging in a physical altercation with his wife during an argument while on vacation in Mexico.

The footage, provided by TMZ Sports, depicts the couple engaging in an altercation on New Year’s Eve in a crowded nightclub. leading others to interfere.

Anne, the wife of Dana White, is seen striking her husband, who then slaps her back.

Dana White told TMZ Sports, “You’ve heard me say for years that there is never, ever a justification for a man to touch a woman. and now I’m saying it.”

“My wife and I have been married for about 30 years. We’ve been friends since we were 12 years old, and we’ve been through a lot together. We have three children, and this is one of those terrible circumstances.

“I’m embarrassed, but it’s one of those instances when our immediate priority is our children. Since the video appeared, we have shown it to our children, and we are currently more focused on our family.

People will have opinions about this, and the majority of those opinions will be correct, especially in my case. You never put your hands on a woman.”

White, 53, stated that he had been drinking that evening but added, “that is no justification.”

“I am making no excuses whatsoever for this,” he added.

He reported that he and his wife have reconciled.

“It occurred, I do not know why it occurred. And my wife and I have apologized to each other and our children.

“That was its beginning and its end, and we are still on vacation. We had too much to drink, and whatever transpired that night took place, but that was the end of it.
