  • Three fatally shot in Pennsylvania
  • Victims tied to suspect

According to US police, a suspect in a series of fatal shootings in Pennsylvania has been apprehended alive in neighbouring New Jersey.

Saturday in Levittown, the suspect allegedly fatally shot three individuals before fleeing across state lines to a residence in neighbouring Trenton, according to the police.

Residents were inside the residence at the time of the intruder’s entry, but they were evacuated safely, according to the police.

According to the police, Andre Gordon was unharmed and in a tranquil surrender to them.

Before surrendering to police, the suspect, aged 26, who was acquainted with the victims, had fortified himself within a residence. Trenton police stated that he had vacated the residence and been observed by nearby officers.

Philadelphia police believe that the suspect is destitute but that they make the Trenton area their primary residence.

Earlier, Bucks County District Attorney Jennifer Schorn stated at a news conference that individuals with ties to Mr. Gordon, including a minor, were among the victims in Levittown. Levittown is located within the metropolitan area of Philadelphia.

Mr. Gordon allegedly broke into a Levittown residence and fatally shot his stepmother, Karen Gordon, 52, and his sister, Kera Gordon, 13, after breaking into the residence.

Officials claim that he then broke into a second residence located approximately two miles away, where he fatally shot Taylor Daniel, 25, the mother of his children.

In an additional alleged act, he struck her mother with the butt of his rifle; she is presently undergoing recovery at the hospital.

Following the incidents, Mr. Gordon allegedly carjacked an individual from a dollar store before making his way to the Trenton residence, where he barricaded himself, according to the Bucks County district attorney’s office.

The police response to the siege in Trenton was documented on camera; one such image appeared to show hostages scaling a first-floor window before being rescued by officers.

The weapon utilised by Mr. Gordon, according to officials at the news conference, is believed to be an assault rifle in the manner of the AR-15.
