The prince will encounter his family once more when he decides whether or not to attend his father’s wedding. She will remain in the United States and he will travel without her.

Buckingham Palace has announced that Prince Harry will attend the coronation, but Meghan will remain in California with their children.

It stated in a statement that it was “pleased to confirm that The Duke of Sussex will attend the Coronation Service at Westminster Abbey on May 6th.

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.”

Harry, who disclosed his troubled relationship with the Royal Family in his Netflix program and autobiography, will be present at the coronation of the King and his stepmother, the Queen Consort.

It concludes months of speculation regarding the couple’s attendance, but critics are likely to accuse Meghan of snubbing the ceremony.

The coronation date coincides with Archie’s fourth birthday.

Archewell, the charitable foundation of Harry and Meghan, issued a nearly identical statement confirming the duke’s attendance.

Doubts arose as to whether Harry would attend the coronation following explosive claims in his book, Spare, that portrayed his family in an unfavorable light and exposed tensions.

He asserted that his sibling William had thrown him to the ground after describing Meghan as “difficult,” “rude,” and “abrasive.”

The duke also claimed that his father placed his interests ahead of Harry’s, was envious of Meghan and Kate, and sacrificed him on “her PR altar.”

After the couple’s interview with Oprah in 2021, it was alleged that an unnamed royal made remarks about the skin tone of their unborn son.

The Sussexes relocated to California in 2020 after renouncing their senior regal titles.

This year, the King ordered them to leave Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

Along with others, Harry is presently pursuing legal action against the Daily Mail’s publisher in a high-court privacy case.

Last month, he made an unexpected appearance at a hearing in London.
