Liverpool woman mauled to death by five American bulldogs; man arrested

A 63-year-old woman died at the residence in Kirkdale, Liverpool, where she was attacked. A 31-year-old man has been detained and is currently in custody, according to Merseyside Police, who report that five American bulldogs found in the house were surrendered and exterminated humanely.

A guy was jailed and five American bulldogs were exterminated following the death of a woman who was assaulted by dogs.

Monday afternoon in the Kirkdale neighborhood of Liverpool, the 63-year-old woman died at the scene of the incident.

Merseyside Police reported on Tuesday that five American bulldogs found in the home were surrendered and were exterminated humanely.

A 31-year-old man has been detained on suspicion of possessing a dangerously out-of-control dog, according to the police.

At 4.25 p.m., the North West Ambulance Service summoned police to a residence on St. Brigid’s Crescent.

The woman has not yet been formally recognized, but her family has been notified and a post-mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death, according to the police.

Detective Inspector Katie Coote stated, “This is a tragic occurrence, and our thoughts are with the deceased woman’s family and friends.”
