The child was discovered unresponsive after coming into contact with “high voltage”

A 10-year-old child who was electrocuted in a Blackpool hotel has passed away.

On Sunday evening, he was discovered unresponsive at Tiffany’s Hotel on the Promenade and transported to the hospital with injuries indicating he had been exposed to “high voltage” electricity.

He passed away in the hospital on Thursday.

The family is at his bedside, and our thoughts are with them at this time, according to the police.

The Tiffany’s Hotel announced in a statement that it will close voluntarily while the authorities investigate and conduct their inspections.

The hotel stated, “We are heartbroken by the news we received today, and our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.”

“Guest safety and comfort continue to be our top priority.” Our phone lines are operational.”

It stated that it would continue to provide the investigating authorities with any assistance they may require.

Also on its website, the hotel is described as being “a stone’s throw from the bright lights and all of Blackpool’s attractions.”
