Leicester are in the box office with ten games remaining; they are three points clear at the summit and have encouraged rivals with three defeats in their last four contests. What for so long appeared to be a procession is now appearing to be anything but.
Promotion, due to its financial ramifications, appears indispensable in light of the dismal financial outlook.
