As the eastern Ukrainian front line becomes increasingly entrenched, Moscow and Kyiv continue to exchange airstrikes.

Using a substantial quantity of missiles and drones, Russia has recently launched assaults against Ukraine in an apparent attempt to overwhelm the country’s air defence systems.

On Sunday, officials stationed in Moscow reported that 27 individuals were slain by Ukrainian shelling on the outskirts of Donetsk, an eastern Ukrainian city occupied by Russia. The Kremlin’s spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, described the assault as a “horrendous act of terrorism.”

However, the Ukrainian military denied any involvement in the attack.

It has been impossible to verify the claims made by either side.
