Imran Khan, others injured in PTI long march container shooting.

During the Pakistan Tehreek-e-(PTI) Insaf’s long march welcoming camp at Allahwala Chowk in Wazirabad, shots were fired at Imran Khan’s container, injuring him, Faisal Javed, and several other party leaders.

Fawad Chaudhry, a leader of the PTI, has stated that Imran Khan was shot in the leg during today’s long march in Wazirabad.

Fawad added that three persons, including Senator Faisal Javed and Ahmad Chattha, were hurt in the attack.

According to the data, the PTI’s long march is currently proceeding toward Wazirabad and its next goal will be a gathering in the city. During the march, unknown assailants opened fire on Imran Khan’s container near the Allah Ho Chowk in Wazirabad.

Several persons were hurt by the gunfire and were immediately sent to a local hospital for treatment.

While PTI leader Azhar Mashwani has stated that Imran Khan is safe, the perpetrator has been apprehended.

CM Elahi takes note and requests an investigation into the firing incident

The Chief Minister of Punjab, Parvez Elahi, has taken note of the shooting incident that occurred near PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s container in Wazirabad and has instructed the provincial IGP to submit a report following a thorough inquiry.

“Those responsible for this incident will be brought to justice as soon as possible, and the injured will receive the best medical care,” added the chief minister.
