Gary Goldsmith, the 58-year-old junior brother of Carole Goldsmith, the mother of Kate, was present at Westminster Abbey in 2011 for the weddings of his niece and Prince William.

Reportedly, the Princess of Wales’s uncle will compete in the upcoming season of Celebrity Big Brother.

Tonight, for the first time in six years, the celebrity reality show returns to UK television. Gary Goldsmith is purportedly scheduled to appear on the program.

In 2011, the 58-year-old businessman, who was the junior brother of Kate’s mother, Carole, was in attendance at Westminster Abbey for the weddings of his niece and Prince William.

Mr. Goldsmith reportedly checked into ITV’s studios yesterday and has since been accommodated in a London hotel in preparation for tonight’s new series premiere, as The Sun reported.

Following “planned abdominal surgery” in January, Kate is currently recuperating.

She was last seen in public with the rest of the Royal Family on Christmas Day as they made their way to church in Sandringham, Norfolk.

What is the identity of Gary Goldsmith?

Goldsmith, a London-based entrepreneur, amassed his fortune in the recruitment and IT industries.

He is the uncle of the Princess of Wales, Pippa Middleton, and James Middleton, the Princess of Wales, by being the brother of Carole Middleton.

Angrily striking his wife in the face with a “left hook” during an altercation resulted in his conviction in 2017 for a 12-month community order, 20 sessions of rehabilitation, and a £5,000 fine.

During a drunk altercation outside their central London residence, he knocked Julie-Ann Goldsmith to the ground after she accused him of using drugs, according to information presented at the hearing by Westminster Magistrates’ Court.

Goldsmith entered a guilty plea on one count of assault by striking.

The revival of Celebrity Big Brother

Celebrity Big Brother will be transmitted live for the first time on ITV tonight.

Channel 4 was where the program and its non-celebrity adaptation first gained notoriety before its 2018 transfer to Channel 5, where the finale was broadcast.

ITV announced last year that it had reached an agreement with production company Banijay, the rightful owners, to revive the show.

Big Brother premiered its 20th civilian season in October of last year; Celebrity Big Brother is scheduled to premiere on Monday night.

At 9:00 pm, the live program, which AJ Odudu and Will Best will host, is scheduled to commence.

A representative of the production company Banijay stated that housemates would only be formally confirmed after their arrival.
