Justin Timberlake appeared to respond during a concert, prompting Britney Spears to delete an Instagram post in which she expressed regret for “offending any of the people I genuinely care about.” The post lamented any offense caused.

Britney Spears appears to have engaged in a confrontation with her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake after expressing regret for her autobiographical remarks about him.

On Sunday, the 42-year-old singer posted an initial Instagram post expressing regret for any potential offense caused to individuals she sincerely cares about in her memoir, The Woman In Me.

The publication of the book in October revealed that during her relationship with the former NSYNC star, she had an abortion.

Spears also expressed her admiration for Justin Timberlake’s new single ‘Selfish’ and accompanied the apology with a link to a Saturday Night Live performance of Timberlake performing the song. “Why do I laugh so hard every time I see Jimmy and Justin together? It’s absolutely fantastic.”

Timberlake appeared to reply to her apology and the accompanying posts on Wednesday during his concert in New York. Since then, she has removed the content.

Timberlake was heard in a performance video at Irving Plaza telling the audience, “In all honesty, I would like to extend an apology to absolutely no one.”

“Unlock your financial potential with free Webull shares in the UK.”

On Thursday, after deleting her apology, Spears seemingly responded to Timberlake with an additional message.

“Someone told me that shit was being talked about me in the streets!!! Are you going to court, or are you going home to cry to your mama like you did before? No, I am not sorry!”

Spears began dating Timberlake in 1999 when she was 17 years old. They met on the Mickey Mouse Club, an event that served as a launching pad for several celebrities, including Christina Aguilera and Ryan Gosling.

They remained a couple until 2002

Spears described the unintended pregnancy as a “surprise” in her memoir.

She wrote, “I did not see it as a tragedy.” However, Justin was not at all pleased with the pregnancy. He said we were far too young to handle the responsibility of having a child at this point in our lives.

“If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it.”

Additionally, she described the abortion as “one of the most painful experiences of my life.”

A number of Spears’s supporters have attempted to trend the hashtag “#canceljustintimberlake” in response to Timberlake’s reply, which has sparked backlash on social media.
