According to the Sunday Times Rich List, Ed Sheeran, Adele, and Harry Styles are among the wealthiest individuals under the age of 35 in the United Kingdom.

As a result of their success in the United Kingdom and the United States, each musician is estimated to be worth over $150 million.

But they are not wealthy enough to reach the main Rich List, which requires at least £350 million in assets.

This includes Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Rishi Sunak and his wife, Akshata Murthy, whose wealth has decreased.

Ed Sheeran, 32, is the seventh richest person under the age of 35, with a fortune of £300 million, thanks to the success of his sixth album “Subtract.”

Adele, who is now 35 years old, ranks ninth with £165 million. The London-born singer has sold over 100 million albums, and earlier this year she announced that she would be extending her lavish Las Vegas residency. This pays £500,000 per performance.

Last year, “Harry’s House” was the best-selling UK album, and Harry Styles is presently on tour in the UK. The 29-year-old is estimated to be worth £150 million.

Gopi Hinduja and his family sit atop the main Rich List with a combined wealth of £35bn, up from £28.4bn last year. The Hinduja family’s global business has grown from £28.4bn to £35bn.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe returns to the top 10 of Britain’s wealthiest individuals after a two-year absence.

Sir Jim, worth £29.6 billion, is most known for his fight to buy Manchester United, his childhood football team. He became wealthy through Ineos, a chemicals and basic materials enterprise.

While the Rich List is comprised of the ultra-wealthy, this is the first year since the global financial crisis of 2008, when the banking industry nearly imploded, that the number of billionaires has decreased.

There are currently 171 billionaires on the list, six less than the previous year. The impact of Covid on the economy, high inflation, and rising interest rates, which make borrowing money more costly, have weighed on the fortunes of the wealthy.

Sir Richard Branson, who feared losing everything during the pandemic, lost nearly half his fortune to £2.4 billion. Covid lockdowns grounded planes and closed Virgin Atlantic’s hotels and health centres, costing the founder £1.5 billion.

Mr. Sunak and Ms. Murthy lost £200 million, from £730 million to £529 million.

Ms. Murthy, who possesses a substantial stake in her father’s IT company Infosys, is the primary source of their wealth.

The recently crowned King Charles III ranks 263rd on the Rich List with a fortune of £600 million. However, he is wealthier than his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, who, according to last year’s list, was worth £320 million.

The author of the Harry Potter novels, J. K. Rowling, is significantly wealthier. She is worth £875 million, an increase of £25 million from the previous year. HBO is allegedly discussing adapting her most renowned work into a TV series.

Meanwhile, two Harry Potter film actors are among the wealthiest individuals under the age of 35. Emma Watson, 33, is worth £60 million and Daniel Radcliffe, 33, £92 million.
