The United States has accused Russia of violating international laws prohibiting the use of chemical weapons by employing them as a "method of warfare" in Ukraine.  According to State Department officials, Russia achieved "battlefield gains" over Ukraine by employing the choking agent chloropicrin.  According to US officials, the allegations were not an "isolated" incident and would violate Russia's signature on the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC).

Kensington Palace has published an additional photograph of Princess Charlotte on her ninth birthday.  The palace captioned the social media post with the following: "Happy Ninth Birthday, Princess Charlotte! I would like to extend my sincere appreciation for all the kind messages received today.  The Princess of Wales was the photographer of the image.

On November 29th, in the occupied West Bank, in the early afternoon, a group of Palestinian youths descended upon their street, where they frequently engaged in recreational activities. Moments later, two of them—Adam, eight, and Basil, fifteen—were found deceased at the hands of Israeli soldiers who had discharged gunfire.

A lightning strike struck a care facility in West Sussex during the night, and a university structure in Chichester sustained roof and power system damage. Following a night of intense lighting and precipitation that impacted other regions of England and Wales, the Met Office has issued a fresh weather advisory regarding thunderstorms that are expected to affect significant areas of the country.
