Natalie McNally was stabbed to death in her Northern Ireland home, and a 32-year-old has been charged with her murder.
According to the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI), the individual was arrested on 19 December and re-arrested in the Lisburn region on 31 January.
Thursday is his court date at the Lisburn Magistrates’ Court.
Ms. McNally, 32, was 15 weeks pregnant when she was stabbed in her home in Lurgan, County Armagh, on December 18.
Detectives investigating her death conducted hundreds of door-to-door interviews and gathered over 4,000 hours of surveillance material.
On Saturday, more than one thousand people gathered at Lurgan Park for a memorial rally in her
honour.
The National Women’s Council (NWC) organized the demonstration, which was attended by Natalie’s parents, Noel and Bernie, and her brothers, Brendan, Niall, and Declan.
Several politicians were in attendance, including Sinn Fein’s Stormont leader Michelle O’Neill.
Many attendees carried signs stating “Justice for Natalie” and “She was only at home”. While others donned pink or blue attire in tribute to the expectant mother.
A PSNI spokesperson said all charges will be assessed by the Public Prosecution Service, as is a regular procedure.
