The police asked the pair to contact them immediately, stating, “Please do this for the sake of your child. You would be incapable of forgiving yourself if they fell ill.”
CCTV footage has captured a missing couple and their newborn kid landing in London.
Constance Marten, 35, and Mark Gordon, 48, have been missing since their vehicle broke down on the M61 near Bolton on January 5.
Officers believe Ms. Marten recently gave birth, but neither she nor the infant has been examined by medical personnel.
The couple is believed to have left their vehicle on foot and traveled to Liverpool first.
In the days that followed, they were seen in Harwich and Colchester in Essex, and a previously published CCTV photograph is believed to show Ms. Marten wearing a red shawl near Harwich Port.
Police reported on Thursday that the most recent sighting occurred on January 7. When the suspect took a taxi from Harwich to East Ham station in east London.
They were captured on camera there between 11:45 a.m. and 12 p.m.
Detective Superintendent Lewis Basford of the Metropolitan Police pleaded with the couple to contact them immediately. So they can assess the health of the infant.
“Being on the go for a week with a newborn must be exhausting for new parents,” he remarked.
