London New Year’s Eve stabbing kills 16-year-old boy

Shortly before midnight, the child was pronounced dead in Primrose Hill following a stabbing incident. A male has been taken into police custody on suspicion of homicide.

A 16-year-old teenager was fatally stabbed in London on New Year’s Eve.

An inquiry into the homicide that occurred on Sunday evening in Primrose Hill has been initiated.

At approximately 11:40 p.m., the police were contacted and administered first aid to the victim before the arrival of ambulance personnel.

Just before midnight, the boy was pronounced deceased by proclamation.

A male has been taken into police custody on suspicion of homicide.

The family of the victim has been notified, and they will receive assistance from specialized officers, according to the Metropolitan Police.

Primrose Hill is a renowned location for New Year’s Eve fireworks viewing, and according to the police, it was crowded at the time of the incident.

During forensic investigations of the incident and its environs, substantial police cordons continue to be enforced.
