Melissa Joan Hart, star of Sabrina the Teenage Witch, assisted a class of “tiny little kids” escape the Nashville school shooting by “climbing out of the woods.”
Melissa Joan Hart assisted children fleeing the shooter who murdered six people at a school in Nashville.
The 46-year-old actress, best known for her role as Sabrina in Sabrina: The Teenage Witch, led a group of “tiny little kids” across a busy road close to the shooting location.
“They were emerging from the forest. “They were trying to escape the school shooter situation,” she said in an emotional Instagram video.
Her children attend a Nashville private Christian school near where a 28-year-old went on a killing spree on Monday.
She and her husband were on their way to parent-teacher conferences when they encountered the fleeing children, she said.
“We helped all these tiny children cross the street and reach their instructors… “We reunited a mother with her children,” she stated.
She added, “I simply do not know what to say any longer.”
“Enough is sufficient. And just believe. Be in prayer for the families.”
Audrey Hale murdered three 9-year-old children and three adult staff members before being shot dead by police.
She stated that this was the second time her family had been near a school murder, as they had previously lived near the Sandy Hook elementary school in Connecticut, where a gunman killed 26 people in 2012.
