Camilla was scheduled to make appearances in Birmingham and Telford.

The Queen Consort’s visit to the West Midlands on Tuesday has been postponed due to illness, according to Buckingham Palace.

The nature of the disease is unknown, but palace officials have classified it as “periodic.”

She celebrated the anniversary of the Elmhurst Ballet School in Edgbaston, Birmingham, tomorrow.

Camilla was also scheduled to visit the Southwater One Library in Telford to thank staff and outreach and volunteer group members for their commitment to the community.

A representative for Buckingham Palace expressed hope that a new date for the postponed activities may be determined soon.

Her representative said Camilla hoped to attend further events.

On Wednesday, the King and Queen will throw a reception at Clarence House for authors and members of literacy charities to honor the second anniversary of her online book club The Reading Room.

The next day, Charles and Camilla are due to attend a reception in Milton Keynes to honor the city’s elevation to city status as part of the celebrations for the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

The Queen Consort contracted Covid early last year and had to cancel several events.

Camilla was suffering from a virus when she was replaced by Princess Royal at the Cheltenham festival in March. Camilla was pacing herself while recovering. She was also absent from a Commonwealth event.

In recent weeks, the Queen Consort has had a packed schedule of engagements throughout the United Kingdom. Including trips to Aberdeen and the Welsh city of Wrexham.

Last Thursday, she visited the Storm Family Centre in Battersea, south London, a charity that assists survivors of domestic violence.

During a brief impromptu statement during the event, she stated that she felt “very privileged and honored” to have visited the center.

Camilla and her husband King Charles met with members of the Bangladeshi community in London’s Brick Lane the day before.

Even more, the pair received takeout from a south Asian eatery.
