A man who was fatally wounded with glass during a scuffle in London has been identified.

Reece Newcombe, 31, was discovered with significant injuries on Richmond Bridge in west London at 4 a.m. on Sunday, according to the Metropolitan Police.

By Monday morning, a GoFundMe campaign to raise £1000 for his daughter had raised $54,000.

“Reece was a loving, entertaining, and well-liked individual. He had not a single defect in his body. He had a profound effect on everyone he encountered “it claimed.

Mr. Newcombe was photographed with retired footballer Ian Wright in 2014 and allegedly assisted him in training for a charity boxing match.

Reece Newcombe was stabbed to death on Richmond Bridge.

In a Facebook status update, his family said: “This is the most difficult thing we’ve ever had to write.

The loss of our dear Son, brother, grandchild, nephew, and a cousin has left us inconsolable.

“Our sorrow cannot be described in words. Our family is broken and will never be the same without Reece’s outsized personality.”

They said, “Everyone who has interacted with Reece has a hilarious tale to tell about his zany antics.”

The Metropolitan Police stated that officers performed CPR until paramedics took over and transferred the victim to the hospital, where he died later that morning.

It is thought that he was stabbed with a broken glass shard. In due time, a post-mortem examination will be conducted.

No arrests have been made.

The inquiry is being led by Detective Chief Inspector Katherine Goodwin, who said: “We suspect that several onlookers witnessed the incident and that some of them may have captured film on their mobile devices.

“Anyone who has not yet addressed us is urged to do so promptly. My team is attempting to bring answers to Reece’s family, and the public may have information that may aid our inquiry.”

Chief Superintendent Lis Chapple, the Richmond police chief, stated: “I am thinking about Reece and his family. We will do everything possible to assist our colleagues in Specialized Crime as they investigate what transpired.

A scene will stay in place, and my officers will remain at the scene and in the surrounding neighborhood to chat with locals about any concerns or information they may have.

His tragedy followed the stabbing deaths of two boys in southeast London on Saturday.

A 16-year-old has been arrested on murder allegations.
