Last week, Raymond James Quigley was stabbed four times in the torso when two adolescents approached him in the city center.
Two teenagers have been charged with murder following the stabbing death of an 18-year-old in Ipswich last week.
On Tuesday afternoon, the attack on Westgate Street in Wymondham, Norfolk, seriously injured Raymond James Quigley.
According to Suffolk Police, a postmortem examination revealed that he had four stab wounds to the torso.
Two teenagers were subsequently detained on Saturday and charged with murder.
They are Alfie Hammett, age 18, of Rushmere St Andrew, Suffolk, and an unnamed 17-year-old lad from Ipswich who cannot be identified due to his age.
The couple was remanded in custody until their court appearance today for possessing an offensive weapon in public.
In a statement, Suffolk Police stated, “Two other individuals approached an 18-year-old and stabbed him.
“During the event, a second man who was with the victim was chased and threatened with a knife by one of the perpetrators but he escaped unscathed.
“The suspects thereafter fled the area in separate directions.
Despite police and ambulance arrival, the stabbed victim unfortunately perished.
