Residents of Droylsden have been requested to review surveillance footage, dashcam footage, and doorbell recordings for any clips that may aid the inquiry.
On Wednesday afternoon in Greater Manchester, a man was detained on suspicion of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a six-year-old girl.
According to police, the 23-year-old remains detained for interrogation.
Officers suspect the boy was abducted from Droylsden’s Warne Avenue before being brought to a forest.
She was reunited with her family after returning to a nearby park, although her parents were cautioned to be “particularly careful” in the area.
The arrest occurred after police released a series of CCTV photographs of a wanted guy, claiming he was “hanging around” previous to the event.
On Wednesday, a 35-year-old guy was arrested but freed without further action.
