The accused men have been released on parole and are scheduled to appear at the Old Bailey next month.
A man has been accused of performing and disseminating castrations on his website “eunuch maker.”
Marius Theodore Gustavson, 45, is one of several males arrested in London, Scotland, and South Wales on Wednesday.
As a result of the alleged removal of genitalia and testicles for pay-per-view subscribers, nine individuals are now facing charges.
Also Gustavson, a 45-year-old Norwegian national residing in London, is accused of being the ringleader.
In addition to being charged with five counts of GBH with intent, he is also accused of creating and distributing an indecent image of a minor and possessing criminal property.
Gustavson, who looked in a wheelchair, had his genitalia, leg, and nip removed.
The crimes allegedly occurred between 2016 and 2022 and were worth £200,000, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
The accused men allegedly belonged to a subculture in which individuals willingly undergo extreme body modifications, such as genital nullification (short for “null”).
They were paroled to appear at the Old Bailey in April without pleading.
Ion Ciucur, 28, of Gretna; Peter Wates, 65, of Purley. Also David Carruthers, 60, Janus Atkin, 37, and Ashley Williams, 31 – all from Newport, Gwent – are charged with conspiracy to commit GBH.
Damien Byrnes, 35, Nathaniel Arnold, 47, and Jacob Crimi-Appleby, 22, were charged with GBH.
