The 63-year-old House of Cards star has previously pleaded not guilty to four counts of sexual assault and one count of inducing a person to engage in sexual behavior without their consent.
Seven further sexual assault charges have been authorized against Kevin Spacey by the Crown Prosecution Service.
The CPS stated that they pertain to multiple sexual assaults committed against a man between 2001 and 2004.
Inciting a person to engage in sexual behavior without their consent is also a crime.
The charges stem from evidence collected by the Metropolitan Police, according to the head of the CPS’s special crime division.
Spacey, 63, has already pled not guilty to claims dating back 17 years in the United Kingdom.
Three men in their 30s and 40s are charged with four counts of sexual assault and one count of inducing a person to engage in penetrating sexual activity without their consent about alleged events in London and Gloucestershire.
Spacey is well-known for his Oscar-winning performances in American Beauty and The Usual Suspects, as well as the critically acclaimed political thriller series House Of Cards.
He served as creative director of the Old Vic from 2004 to 2015.
