After the double-decker bus collided with the underside of a railway bridge in Glasgow, ten people were transported to various hospitals, and several others were treated at the scene by paramedics.

An infant was among those injured when a double-decker bus in Glasgow collided with a railway bridge and lost its roof.

Sunday morning, ten individuals were taken to the hospital following an incident on Cook Street in Tradeston.

The Scottish Ambulance Service has verified that a patient was transported to the Royal Hospital for Children in the city.

Five individuals were transported to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, while four others were transported to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

Several others were treated by paramedics at the scene.

Susan Aitken, the leader of the Glasgow City Council, stated on Monday that the incident “must have been terrifying for everyone involved.”

She added, “Many thanks to the emergency services for the speedy evacuation.” I hope that all hospitalized patients will soon be discharged, completely recovered.”

First Bus confirmed that one of its vehicles was involved in the incident.

A company representative added, “We continue to work closely with emergency services, and our thoughts are with those affected.”

The crash halted train services between Glasgow Central and Paisley Gilmour Street and stopped many roads until 5 p.m.

Police Scotland stated that investigations are ongoing.
