The infant was transported by helicopter to the hospital for treatment.
A baby boy sustained severe injuries after falling from a window on the second floor in Burnley.
The one-year-old child was airlifted to the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital for medical care.

Police are conducting an investigation and attempting to locate several individuals who stopped to assist the infant outside a residence on Heap Street.
DI Mark Saunders stated, “My sympathies are foremost with the family during this difficult time.
“We are aware that, following the incident, some individuals stopped to assist. We are eager to identify these individuals and communicate with them to learn what transpired”.
