A “cruel” and “twisted” pedophile who coerced children as young as 12 to become his “sex slaves” has been sentenced to 26 years in prison.

Jordan Croft is guilty of 65 crimes involving 26 victims who were coerced into sending images and videos of themselves engaging in sexual or demeaning conduct.

The 26-year-old from Worthing, West Sussex, posed as a teenage guy online to “dominate and control” young girls, according to the National Crime Agency (NCA).

One victim expressed her wish that Croft would “burn in hell” when he was jailed on Friday at Lewes Crown Court.

On one site alone, investigators discovered that the pedophile was in communication with more than 5,000 individuals.

After convincing victims to email him a photo of themselves in their underwear, Croft exploited this against them to demand progressively obscene and violent content.

He established a set of rules that they were required to follow and shifted their communications to the encrypted app Telegram.

Many of the girls and young women he molested, ranging in age from 12 to 22, were forced to record themselves stating that they were entering into Croft’s “contract of sexual servitude.”

The NCA stated that he compelled victims to sexually assault themselves and other children on command, as well as record themselves peeing and defecating.

So that Croft would know they were not ignoring him, victims had to request permission to use the restroom and indicate when they would be busy.

Croft would impose fines and threaten to expose the girls to their families or social media followers if they did not comply.

‘Burn in hell’

In a succession of stunning victim impact statements, Croft was described as a “cruel, twisted, sad pedophile” who caused “emotional torture” and “physical and psychological damage” to the victimized girls.

One victim stated, “Your heinous acts have damaged the lives of hundreds, if not thousands, of young girls who will never forget or allow themselves to forget what you did to them.”

Someone said, “I was terrified of you and thought there was no way out. You trapped me. You frightened me. I couldn’t believe someone could be so aggressive and cruel.”

One victim’s statement said, “I want you to suffer emotionally and physically as much as I have. You make me sick, and you make me so angry.

“You’ve caused me enough suffering, and now it’s your turn. I wish you would burn in hell.”

From now on, everyone will view you as nothing more than a cruel, perverted, pitiful pedophile.

A victim commented, “I want you to know that I loathe what you did to me and I pray you to rot in hell.”

Catfish

Croft was arrested in September 2019 after it was determined that he was behind multiple usernames tied to online harassment that was reported to multiple police departments as early as April 2018.

Croft’s gadgets were seized, including a USB drive and two mobile phones on which he had saved the abusive content and labeled it with the victims’ names, ages, and social network followers.

Investigators connected him to twenty online personas on four distinct chat sites.

Croft originally pretended to be a teenage lad to befriend his victims, as evidenced by chat logs.

Once he was satisfied that the girls would follow his rules, Croft revealed his true age and admitted to being a “catfish” and a “pedo interested in girls 12-14.”

He told his victims he had a degree in cybersecurity and had concealed his online identity so law enforcement could not track him down.

Victims’ valor is lauded

In August, Croft pled guilty to 65 charges at Lewes Crown Court, including causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, blackmail, making unwarranted demands for indecent images, intentionally causing or inciting the sexual exploitation of a child, and making more than 900 indecent images of children.

Senior investigating officer at the NCA, Martin Ludlow, described Croft as “a prolific offender who has caused heartbreaking suffering to numerous victims and their families.”

“His consistent sexual depravity during this abuse of young female children and adults is horrifying,” he said.

“Like many criminals, Croft thrived on the control he had over his victims. He desired a sense of control and obtained it through deceit and abuse.

“He lacked compassion for the victims, pushing them to the breaking point and issuing threats even as they begged him to stop, despite his lack of empathy.

I commend these young ladies for their courage in speaking out against him.
