A man has been charged with murder following the discovery of an injured 11-year-old boy in a park in Derbyshire.
The police reported that ambulance crews were dispatched to Shipley Country Park in Heanor on June 18 in response to reports of an injured boy. He passed away later that day.

The subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of a man about the death that occurred last week.
Michael Harrison, age 41, of Nottingham’s Eaton Terrace, has been charged with murder and is scheduled to appear in court shortly.
Mr. Harrison is scheduled to appear before the Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court on charges of coercive and controlling conduct.
Derbyshire Police stated that officers will continue their investigations and remain in the area for the next few days.
As part of their investigation, the police are searching for a white Vauxhall Combo van with one of the following license plate numbers: FL54 JBJ, FL54 JDJ, or FG57 FTO.
