The Metropolitan Police stated that a crime scene has been established and that inquiries are proceeding to notify the boy’s family.

A massive police cordon encircles the area, and cops are present.

The cordon is anticipated to remain in place for “a few days,” according to an officer who spoke with a MyLondon reporter at the scene.

There have been no arrests thus far, and the investigation into the attack is ongoing.

The Met’s specialized crime division, which investigates a murder and organized crime, has been notified.

In 2021, thirty adolescents were murdered in the capital.

The amount beats both the previous high of 27 teen homicides in London in 2008 and the previous high of 27 teen homicides in London in 2017.

London had 49 killings between January and June of this year, but the ages of the victims are not mentioned in the Metropolitan Police’s crime statistics dashboard.
