Tottenham has agreed to sign Richarlison from Everton for £50 million-plus £10 million in add-ons and will announce the signing of the forward passes a medical in Brazil.

Personal terms were agreed upon on Wednesday, and the clubs have resolved outstanding issues relating to the deal’s structure, allowing Richarlison to join a Champions League club of his choice.

Tottenham had offered part-exchange players such as Harry Winks and Steven Bergwijn, but Everton preferred a cash-only transfer. The initial paperwork has been signed, and Richarlison is set to leave Everton four years after joining from Watford. Chelsea made a late bid to sign the 25-year-old, proposing a player-plus-money deal before Spurs ended talks.

The Brazil international has 53 goals in 152 games for Everton and will be joined at Spurs by Clément Lenglet, a defender from Barcelona. The clubs are in advanced talks about loaning the France center-half for a season, with a meeting scheduled for Thursday to discuss issues such as his salary. Lenglet, who started seven La Liga games last season, is eager to join the club.

Tottenham has brought in three new players this summer, including Yves Bissouma, Ivan Perisic, and backup goalkeeper Fraser Forster.
