- Ansu Fati’s Loan Move to Brighton
- Dean Henderson’s Transfer to Crystal Palace
- Transfer Updates from Other Clubs
After the club reached an agreement with Barcelona on Wednesday, Ansu Fati is traveling to Brighton to conclude his loan move.
The Spain winger flew to England on a private jet on Thursday afternoon after a season-long loan was agreed upon. Brighton is covering 80% of Fati’s salary until June 2024, and neither side has consented to a purchase option.
Fati inherited Lionel Messi’s No. 10 jersey at Barcelona, but injuries have halted his tremendously promising career. He is eager to collaborate with Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi, who was instrumental in reaching an agreement.
Dean Henderson has been acquired by Crystal Palace from Manchester United for £15 million plus add-ons. After completing a five-year contract, the custodian stated on the club’s website, “I am ecstatic to be here.” I want to be a part of whatever is being constructed here.
Nottingham Forest, who signed Henderson on loan last season, are seeking to acquire Odisseas Vlachodimos from Benfica and have signed Murillo from Corinthians for £15 million. Steve Cooper also hopes to bolster his midfield before Friday’s transfer deadline, with PSV Eindhoven’s Ibrahim Sangaré and Leicester’s Wilfried Ndidi on his list of potential targets.
Brentford are on the verge of signing PSV winger Johan Bakayoko.
The west London club has also submitted an offer worth €40 million (£34.3 million) with add-ons and a sell-on clause. The departure of the highly regarded Belgian may depend on PSV re-signing Hirving Lozano from Napoli.
After signing a deal through June 2028, Joo Palhinha informed Fulham that he wants to join Bayern Munich. The move may depend on whether Fulham can replace the immensely influential midfielder before the transfer deadline, with Pierre-Emile Hjbjerg of Tottenham a possible target.
Wolves, who on Thursday signed center back Santiago Bueno and winger Enso González, are poised to make a second offer for Harrison Reed after Fulham rejected their initial offer.
Burnley has submitted an offer to Benfica for the 21-year-old central defender Tomás Aráujo. It is believed to be a season-long loan with a €20 million option to purchase if Burnley avoids relegation. The Clarets have secured the free transfer acquisition of former Bristol City midfielder Han-Noah Massengo.
