Palestinian-American Model Bella Hadid has made her position on her nation of origin Palestine clear many times and she’s stated that she won’t quit raising her voice till Palestine is free. On this Nakba Day, she wrote a close-to-home note that discussed both the individual injury her family went through and the torment Nakba survivors go through right up ’til now, indeed calling for Palestine to be free.
Bella re-shared a video by Al Jazeera on May 15, Nakba Day, that outlined the historical backdrop of Palestine and made sense of how the “extraordinary emergency” isn’t restricted to a day or a year (1948) yet “keeps on influencing in excess of 12 million Palestinians”.
