A single UK ticket holder won the £24 million EuroMillions jackpot in Friday’s lottery draw.
The lucky winner became a multi-millionaire overnight after matching all five main numbers (04, 19, 23, 35, 37) and the two bonus numbers (04 and 08).
This is the second time a UK ticket holder has won the EuroMillions jackpot this month.
Andy Carter of the National Lottery said on Friday: “What a terrific night for UK EuroMillions players, as a single ticket-holder won tonight’s life-changing £24 million prize.

This makes two UK EuroMillions jackpot winners this month, following another lucky ticket holder’s £33 million victory in the draw on July 5.
The code MWPC38104 was used in the Millionaire Maker game to generate one millionaire from the UK.
Nobody won the top prize in the Thunderball draw.
