- Taylor Swift boosts NFL game.
- Rumored boyfriend Travis Kelce.
- Swifties support American football.
Swift’s devoted fans bought football shirts and educated each other on the rules as they purchased tickets for the New York Jets’ game against the Kansas City Chiefs in New Jersey, following the announcement of her attendance.
Taylor Swift returned to an NFL stadium to support her rumored boyfriend, accompanied by a star-studded group.
There are rumors that Swift is dating Travis Kelce, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, as they were seen together after last weekend’s NFL games.
StubHub reported that ticket sales for the Kansas City Chiefs’ 23-20 victory over the New York Jets exceeded this season’s previous single-day record by more than twice.
Last weekend, she made a surprise appearance in Kansas to join Kelce’s mother at the game, with cameras focused on her for nearly the entire match.

Clips of her celebrating, imbibing, and shouting, as well as images of her leaving with Kelce at the end of the night, quickly went viral.
Swift’s fanbase, known as Swifties, mobilized in the hours and days following her appearance, buying every available replica of Kelce’s jersey and sharing instructional videos on how to play American football.
Swift performed Sunday night in New Jersey with Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Hugh Jackman, and Sophie Turner, recent divorcees.
According to reports, Turner, who recently separated from pop star Joe Jonas, is currently staying in Swift’s New York apartment while finalizing her divorce. Both have previously dated and broken up with Jonas.
Swift is close friends with model Lively, while Reynolds and Jackman have halted production on the next Deadpool film due to the ongoing Hollywood actors’ strike.
Jackman and his ex-wife divorced last month after more than two decades of marriage.
In May, Swift performed for three consecutive nights at the MetLife Stadium, where she was joined by fellow musician Sabrina Carpenter, who has been the opening act for the megastar on the South American segment of her tour.
During the game’s pre-show on NBC, Carson Daly, host of the American version of The Voice, appeared to explain the game’s rules to the Swifties who had likely tuned in.
We all know this isn’t a typical Sunday Night Football game,” Daly said, adding, “Our colleagues at NBC Sports asked us to explain tonight’s story in a way that the legions of Swifties could understand.
He went on to discuss the game while incorporating Swift’s song titles, concluding with: “Welcome To New York.”
Kelce commented on a podcast with his brother that Swift looked “amazing” at the game last week, adding, “Shout out to Taylor for coming through and seeing me rock the stage.” Neither Swift nor Kelce have publicly confirmed their relationship.
