A performance on comedian Michael McIntyre’s world tour has been canceled due to a medical procedure.

On Sunday, the comedian’s social media account stated that he was “unable to perform” on Monday at the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton. The incident occurred on Sunday.

The X post stated, “Unfortunately, Michael underwent surgery to remove kidney stones.”

Rescheduled performances will be reimbursed to attendees who cannot attend the new date, the statement continued.

“We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused,” the announcement stated.

It follows last week’s setback in Plymouth, where McIntyre could not perform another stop on his Magnificent world tour.

The comedian’s social media account stated that “illness” prevented him from performing at the Plymouth Pavilions on Thursday.

“The show will be rescheduled to a date to be announced shortly,” the post continued. You may request a refund if you cannot attend the rescheduled date. We extend our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused.”

McIntyre is scheduled to perform at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham for three nights, from Friday to Sunday.

This month, he will perform in Newcastle and Manchester, followed by performances throughout the United Kingdom in London, Birmingham, Glasgow, and Belfast in the latter half of spring.

Last year, McIntyre’s tour included stops in the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and mainland Europe.
