It was rumored that the US superstar was paid $24m (£19.4m) for the VIP event, which was attended by Kendall Jenner, Liam Payne, Ronan Keating, Rochelle and Marvin Humes, and British Vogue editor Edward Enninful.

Beyonce performed for the first time since 2018 at a private hotel launch event in Dubai. Where she was occasionally accompanied by her daughter Blue Ivy.

The 41-year-old American superstar performed a 90-minute set at the concert celebrating the opening of Atlantis The Royal, the world’s most ultra-luxurious resort.

Beyonce sang At Last by Etta James in front of a 1,500-person crowd while wearing a yellow sequined gown with a sculptural feather cape.

She also sang some of her most popular songs, including Crazy in Love, Naughty Girl, Halo, and XO, before concluding with Drink in Love as fireworks illuminated the sky.

Blue Ivy, age 11, surprised the audience when she joined her famous mother on stage to perform Brown Skin Girl from the 2019 album The Lion King: The Gift.

Crowd members were instructed to place their phones in pouches and were reportedly scolded by security personnel if they were seen snapping photographs.

The singer chose not to play any tunes from her latest album, Renaissance. Which is nominated for two Grammys, at her headlining concert.

Beyonce addressed the ecstatic audience as follows: “On this stage is a utopia of people from all over the world. And we are very honored to be here with you to celebrate this evening.

My mum and father are here to celebrate with us tonight. My gorgeous children and spouse are here to watch me perform.”

The Destiny’s Child actress next donned a scarlet and gold bejeweled bodysuit with a voluminous train. Followed by a red corseted minidress with matching stockings and gloves for her third outfit change.

She reportedly received $24 million (£19.4 million) for the VIP concert, which was attended by Kendall Jenner, Liam Payne, Ronan Keating, Rochelle and Marvin Hummer, and British Vogue editor Edward Enninful.

“We have granted her creative autonomy. This is her work, and we encourage her to express it in her way “Tim Kelly, managing director, remarked.

“I cannot emphasize enough the professionalism and discipline displayed during the rehearsals.

“Since her arrival a week ago, she has been on stage, rehearsing and performing. And she is also creating and producing a show.

“She does not take a show out of the box since there is no show inside. You’re going to get Beyonce at full throttle.”

Mr. Kelly stated that securing the global pop singer for the launch “takes a long time”. But that the event “came together quite quickly.”

He said: “It is a situation in which she decides what she wants to do. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for her to be performing in Dubai on this night. For which we are honored and proud.

“We’ve always said that this is an iconic building, and to have the most iconic artist on the planet available today. Who hasn’t been seen playing in public for almost four years, it’s truly a night of icons.”

Since the Global Citizen Festival in Johannesburg, South Africa, in December 2018, Beyonce has not headlined a live performance.
