Angus Cloud, known for his role as Fez in the popular HBO series “Euphoria,” tragically passed away at the age of 25 in July. The Alameda County Coroner’s Office has now officially determined the cause of his untimely death to be an accidental overdose involving fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, and benzodiazepines.
The talented actor had recently experienced the loss of his father, and his family disclosed that he had been grappling intensely with this profound bereavement. Prior to his accidental overdose, Angus had attended his father’s funeral in Ireland and then returned to his family home in Oakland, California.
His family expressed their joy at Angus’s reunion with his father, his closest friend, in a touching statement. They also acknowledged Angus’s candid discussion of his mental health struggles, hoping that his passing serves as a reminder to others that they need not face such challenges in isolation.
Angus Cloud career also extended beyond acting, as he appeared in music videos for renowned artists like Becky G, Karol G, and Juice WRLD. However, he is most fondly remembered for his portrayal of Fezco “Fez” O’Neill in “Euphoria.”
