The rock supergroup Hollywood Vampires, comprised of Johnny Depp, Alice Cooper, Joe Perry of Aerosmith, and Tommy Henriksen, will tour the United Kingdom next year, beginning in Scarborough.

Johnny Depp will tour the United Kingdom with his rock supergroup Hollywood Vampires the following year.

The band, composed of Alice Cooper, Joe Perry of Aerosmith, and Johnny Depp, will debut in Scarborough in July 2023. In addition, guitarist Tommy Henriksen will join the tour.

Due to the pandemic, the group was forced to cancel its 2020 tour.

Depp, whom earlier this year prevailed in a multimillion-dollar defamation suit against his ex-wife Amber Heard, has recently returned to his music.

The Hollywood Vampires will tour the UK starting in Scarborough.

While awaiting the outcome of the jury trial, the 59-year-old performed with rock legend Jeff Beck in Sheffield, London, and Gateshead.

The duo later announced the release of a collaborative album, named 18, which included two original songs and several classic rock covers.

Depp also made an unannounced appearance at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, joking with the audience that he “needed the work” as he was projected onto the stage wearing an astronaut costume.

The actor had sued Heard over an article she published for The Washington Post in 2018 about her experiences as a survivor of domestic abuse, which, according to his attorneys, wrongly portrayed him as an abuser.

After the allegations, Depp’s representatives stated that he had lost business opportunities and prominent positions, such as being removed from the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.

There have been rumors that the actor may even return to the Fantastic Beasts franchise following his trial victory.

The Hollywood Vampires perform songs honoring the “great lost heroes of music” as well as their unique compositions.

The band has two albums, their self-titled debut from 2015 and Rise from 2019.

Cooper, speaking about the forthcoming tour, stated: “Due to COVID, it has already been three years since the Vampires toured.

“Also, Johnny has his movies, Joe is in Aerosmith, and I am in Alice Cooper, so we must examine our schedules to determine when we can all get two months off to tour. And we will be doing so in the upcoming summer of 2023.

“I can’t wait to see the guys again, since I truly enjoy being in that band. My band is fantastic, but playing with the Vampires is a completely different experience.

“I’m just the lead vocalist in a band, which also happens to be one of the top bands in the area! I don’t necessarily engage in any theatrics. It will be fantastic to see Johnny, Joe, Buck, Chris, and the rest of the guys.

“We will rock these countries, especially the United Kingdom; I cannot wait to visit the United Kingdom! Lock your doors and smear the area with garlic, since vampires are approaching!”

Perry added: “Next summer will finally mark the return of the Hollywood Vampires.

“We cannot wait to perform the songs from our most recent album, Rise, for our admirers across the pond.

“The anticipation grows as we count down the days! Remember to leave your garlic at home, and see you then!”

On 5 July, the tour will begin in Scarborough, followed by visits to Swansea, Manchester, London, and Birmingham before concluding on 12 July in Glasgow.

Additionally, the band is playing throughout Europe, including Germany, France, and Switzerland.

Tickets go on sale on October 28 at 10 a.m.
