According to the website of Born To Run singer, he “has steadily continued to recover” over the past few weeks and “will undergo treatment for the rest of the year as per doctor’s orders.”

The statement shows that they postponed the performances “out of an abundance of caution.”

Springsteen, also known as The Boss, expressed gratitude to his friends and admirers for their “good wishes, encouragement, and support.”

He added, “I’m recovering and can’t wait to see all of you next year.”

The Golden Globe-winning musician announced earlier this month that he would postpone his September performances, which were planned at various venues across the United States, including Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Connecticut, and Ohio.

During that time, doctors treated him for ulcer-related symptoms. An ulcer is a condition characterized by the development of open sores in the stomach or small intestine lining, which can lead to heartburn, nausea, and severe stomach discomfort.

Canada dates and performances in Phoenix, San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Francisco have also been postponed.

Rescheduled concerts will take place at the original venues and will be announced this week.

The tour, which began in Florida on 1 February, marks Springsteen’s first in six years.

His most recent performance before complications arose was a three-night stand in his native state of New Jersey, where he entertained throngs of fans.

His international journey brought him to Europe, including London.

The tour was Springsteen and the E Street Band’s first North American tour since February 2017 and September 2016.

In July, they headlined the British Summertime Festival in London’s Hyde Park, where Roger Federer, Peter Gabriel, Billy Joel, and Jon Bon Jovi were among the attendees.
