Cardi B’s Las Vegas incident follows Harry Styles’ Skittles and Pink’s mother’s ashes.
Cardi B was videotaped throwing a microphone at a member of the audience in retaliation for having a drink thrown over her while she was performing.
The US rapper performing in a flowing orange dress in Las Vegas has been widely shared on social media.
After a drink spills on her during a song, Belcalis Almanzar, aka Cardi B, gets angry.
As her hit song Bodak Yellow continues to play, security staff can then be seen surrounding the individual in the throng.
The 30-year-old celebrity retweeted a video of the incident with the caption “Jealous A** B****!” This is a reference to her spouse, the rapper Offset, and his new song Jealousy, on which she appears.
This is not the first time Cardi B has been captured on camera in Las Vegas hurling a microphone.
The night before, she threw her microphone at a DJ for cutting her songs short.
Skittles for Harry Styles and Ashes for Pink
Also it is the most recent incident in which fans have thrown objects at music artists on stage.
Bebe Rexha shared photos of her black eye after being struck by a cell phone in June, and footage of a fan throwing their mother’s ashes at Pink in London rapidly went viral.
Kelsea Ballerini had to stop mid-performance after a concertgoer threw an unknown object at her face, and Harry Styles has also been subjected to flying objects at his concerts, including Skittles, which hit him in the eye and prompted a social media plea from the candy company.
Adele warned the audience before her Weekends With Adele residency in Las Vegas began in July.
“Have you noticed how people are currently disregarding f*** show etiquette? They’re just throwing s on stage,” the celebrity said in a video posted to social media. “Have you seen that?”
“F dare you,” she added. “Dare you to throw something at me.”
