A sheet of paper containing Noel Gallagher’s handwritten Wonderwall lyrics brought £46,875 at auction.

The page was likely created in the middle of the 2000s to assist Gallagher, the band’s lead guitarist, during rehearsals.

They were stored by the band’s road crew after the concert.

The song featured on the band’s 1995 album (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? and became one of their most popular and successful.

The sculpture was estimated to cost between £4,000 and £6,000.

Gallagher and his brother Liam formed Oasis in 1991, but the band disbanded in 2009, and their relationship has been frosty ever since.

Noel Gallagher’s 1962 Epiphone Casino guitar, which he purchased on the advice of The Jam’s Paul Weller, was also sold on Friday.

It was purchased for £56,250

The guitar was utilized to record Oasis’s third studio album, Be Here Now, as well as demos for their fourth studio album, Standing On The Shoulders Of Giants.

According to Propstore, the two pieces were included in one of the largest collections of Oasis memorabilia to be auctioned in the United Kingdom.

A leather jacket used by Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash in the music video for the song “Paradise City” was sold for £34,375, while an autographed Beatles concert ticket was sold for £12,500.

David Bowie’s spacesuit from the 1980 music video Ashes To Ashes, Whitney Houston’s Queen Of The Night costume from the film The Bodyguard, and Elvis Presley’s signed weapons license application are all up for auction.

Other pieces from Michael Jackson, the Sex Pistols, Blur, Rihanna, and the Spice Girls are included among the 1500 lots.

The auction at the Piccadilly, London, headquarters of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (Bafta) began on 3 November and continues till 6 November.
